Hi, you asked me a increase question about the Kimono...I knit 2 stitches at the edge before doing a yarn over increase. Otherwise, the edge curls. Also, it creates a more stable border if you decide to weave ribbon through the holes.
lynne, thank you SO much for the comments on my blog! i'm going to have to go out and buy the things to try your squash "recipe." it sounds so yummy! (although i don't know if i even like squash! i guess we'll see!)
and you should blog! it's a lot of fun... (and you get to show off the knitting!)
